FSC Certification – Forest Stewardship Council
The FSC Certification is an international standard that guarantees that wood, paper and other fibre-based products come from responsibly managed forests, with respect for the environment, local communities and economic sustainability.
The system is based on two main areas of verification:
- Forest Management (FM) – ensures that forests are managed in a way that preserves biodiversity and protects the rights of local communities and workers.
- Chain of Custody (CoC) – monitors the entire supply chain, ensuring that certified materials remain separate from non-certified ones.
The FSC label, recognizable by the tree checkmark, certifies that the product originates from a transparent and sustainable supply chain committed to protecting natural resources and promoting an ethical and long-lasting forestry economy.

CE Marking – European Conformity
The CE Marking certifies that a product complies with all European Union standards relating to health, safety and environmental protection, allowing its free circulation within the European Economic Area.
The CE marking represents a direct commitment by the manufacturer, who declares and documents the product’s conformity to relevant European directives, through conformity assessment, preparation of the technical documentation and the EU declaration of conformity.
This marking ensures that the product is safe for people and the environment, meeting the essential requirements set by EU legislation. It is mandatory for a wide range of products, including machinery, electrical devices, personal protective equipment and pressure equipment.
The CE symbol is therefore a guarantee of European quality, safety and compliance, essential for consumer trust and business competitiveness within the single market.
